Crobat Memories

I don’t know how long did I faint, but when I wake up, I’m in a cave, another smaller cave.

“You woke up.”

I look at him, and I try to fly back when I saw her sharp and terrifying claws, but the sudden pain flow through my whole body, I screamed.

“I didn’t mean to hurt you, calm down.” She steps closer and talks to me, “That Arbok almost broke all your bones, you shouldn’t move.”

“Who… Who are you?”

She puts her claws in front of her chest, “My name is Sandslash, I found you were attacked by Arbok around Mt.Moon, this is my cave.” She pats the wall with her claws.

“…Oh! Woobat! Where’s Woobat! Argh-” I struggle to get up, but I can’t even lift my wing or turn my head.

“She’s behind you, is sleeping.” She pointed to my right, I can’t see if Woobat is really there or not.

“So, what happened to you all? It looks like you were involved in an accident.”

“…”

“…So this is what happened to you.” She nodded.

I nodded too, “Did you saw Mama?”

She paused, and look away, “Oh.”

She scratches on his neck, “She went back to Mt.Moon.”

“Alright, I’m going back to Mt.Moon- Aah!” I try to move, but the unbearable pain flow through my whole body.

“Don’t move, you should not move.” She said and sighed, “it looks like you’ll take more time to recover, and you probably can’t go back to Mt.Moon, how about staying here temporary?”

This may be the best offer I could get currently… “Okay.”

This is how I met Sandslash family.

Sandslash introduced me to her two children, they have the same name, Sandshrew, but they have some appearance differences, they are all boys, younger ones look just like Sandslash and the older ones have white scales.

They take care of me and Woobat, at first, they wonder will I eat berries or not, but when they know about me, they start to get me berries too.

Day by day, I feel I’m recovering, my wing can move again, and I can barely turn my head now, I finally saw Woobat, she didn’t speak yet, she always sticks around me instead of Sandslash.

They know, daytime is my bedtime, they went out to gather some berries, and after the bye to them, I always fall asleep.

Slowly, my body is recovering a little bit more and more.

I wanted to go back to Mt.Moon... But Auntie Sandslash said it's dangerous there, and I'm not yet to go back...

I stayed with them.

Sandshrew brothers are good to us, just like they are our real brothers.

Woobat is learning to talk now... But what embarrasses is, she called Sandslash "Mama".

...I really enjoy living with them.
