This Round’s Nominee had some big shoes to fill when the Harmon Twins went to Melbourne City in the offseason but this numbat has filled those shoes and has helped Geelong continue to build on their success of last season by his great and impactful play. With 17 disposals, 8 marks, 6 goals and 3 tackles in Round 9. It is of course Ricky Nimbus.

The son of Bush Footballer Arthur Nimbus, Ricky Nimbus has been one of Bendigo’s best exports to the FAFL as after only 9 games for the Geelong Generals, Ricky has not only been one of Geelong’s top goalscorers but has also had a couple of great grabs throughout those games. If he can keep it up, “The Flying Nimbus” will likely to be not only a major part of the Generals Forward Line but a staple of Highlight Videos of Marvellous Marks.
