My MYO entry to the teabeetle event on dA! These guys are super cute and I wanted to make a nighttime inspired design that wasn't too overly complicated so I can draw him more often ;-;
His flower trait is a Passionflower, which is known for its powerful sedative properties. The naturally occurring chemicals that produce this effect are present throughout his blood and muscle, so if he were to get bitten or injured and his blood was ingested it would have the same effect, albeit much more concentrated than in the flower, and likely more lethal; especially in larger quantities.
