There's nothing as sweet as a flight beneath the stars with someone you're close to. The peaceful nighttime air, the flickering stars, the glow of the moon...it all comes together to create a magnificent evening, especially for two young dragons.
For
this was a special night for he had led me to a secret place. He told me the view was amazing from it, and he was certainly right. There, while I was enamored by the night sky, our tails began to coil and he laid a wing over my back, insisting it could get quite cold so high up. Slowly he slipped his paw over mine, and as our tails tightened their embrace of each other, he dared to slide a little closer against my side. It would help with the cold after all, or such was the reason he gave.
Distracted as I was, I still caught those little tender movements and what they meant. <3
