So! Some of you (I imagine very few of you) may recall a few years back that I was working on a written wrassling promotion known as 'The Chapel of Wrestling Spirits'. Unfortunately it ran into a few problems in the background which meant it wound up dying out... but I was always fond of the idea, and I do at least imagine the promotion in-universe ran for a short course of time.
Probably one of the more notable features of the promotion was it's GM - the High Priestess Saratheina. A dominant presence, who was equal parts power, authority, and mystique. She was arguable the face of the brand, and was the mouthpiece through which it ran.
Back then I got a design made for her... but I was never particularly happy with it. Whilst the image I got was a powerful priestess, I still never felt it fully reflected the aura of the character. As such, in recent times, now that I've taken up the tablet pen to draw for myself... I thought I'd give it my own shot.
I incorporated elements of the old design of course - I didn't want to discard it. But I also wanted to make it my own - and make it more reflective of the character she was supposed to be.
So here she is, before the stained glass screen that let everyone know where it was that they stood.
They stood below Sarath... in the Chapel of Wrestling Spirits.
