The Scout, Secret Police, MP, function is maintained by these creatures, obviously enchanced rats, mixed in some dopleganger and some spider to allow a few extra abilities. Frequenty they sniff out lies and treason... the military that fields these creatures is highly loyal because of the terror in there own ranks these can provide. Senses, Basic Shapechange and binding make the Scout a dangerous creature.. most other troops hate them of course.. not that they care
