This is what I've been working on all day... page eleven of the latest interlude. I'm rather pleased with how the lines and toning came out, so thought I'd share what I have so far.

But now, I need to go finish this up. I've still the lettering to do. Whoo!

No, not at all. She's a little worried about the consequences of not following it. Gadel's an interesting character. She can be a nice girl, but she has a lot of ideas, social awkwardness, and selfish motives that make people not too fond of her.

I think her social awkwardness comes from the Astorian society.

I did read the comic and I really don´t like the Astorians. Their Culture is carried on the shoulders of slaves and Serfs.

Yeah, the Astorians are more than a little messed up. I was worried when Gadel first showed up and some people thought she could do no wrong because she was pretty. I kept thinking, 'did I draw her wrong? Maybe I should have made her ugly.'

I believe that ugly Gadel wouldn't work.. I think her good looks only underlines her misfit status.

True. She probably wouldn't get along as well in Astorian society if her looks were less than stellar.
