I'm not sure why but I've always loved the paras line, xD I kinda wish this one actually became canon, but i can understand why they would drop it too. Lots of baby pokemon in the second game.. paras wasnt super strong to begin with either..
Still... Bug thing becoming the parasite, only to be taken over in the end, its both dark but sounds suuuuper interesting.
