This is my half of a trade with Jigokuinu on DA who I met at Furry Fiesta. Its her character Jigoku Inu Korathshan (http://jigokuinu.deviantart.com/art/Dragon-v2-135356566) This piece came together a lot faster than I expected...I haven't done a dragon in ages. The wings were the most interesting piece since they required buying a new punch but its about time I starting acquiring actual leather tools. Also putting the spinal ornament on was an interesting exercise in insanity. I swear, faux fur sheds worse than the real thing.
The figure is wire core with fabric skin. The wings are leather and heavy gauge steel wire. The face piece is leather, the fur on the spine is faux.

Get a rotary punch tool, I got one years ago and it's been well worth every cent! You can also find them with the other Tandy Leather stuff at Michael's or Jo-Ann's, but hell if you're in Texas check out Tandy Leather if you haven't already; they've got a couple of storefronts in TX. :3
