You know, back during 2012, Game of Thrones was super popular and it was the talk of everything, and so was Jon Snow's name! Also you did more than just a good job with Sesshoumaru.

My mother recently collected all the seasons of GoT and became a fan of the series. I must confess, that the story is not really my cup of tea, because most people in the show just act like humans do in real life, there was no ideal world building concept and those characters that had a bit of better ambitions at the end left the country, because they learned that force allways will corrup humans in charge.

You're not wrong on that...that's partially what happened to Big Boss/Naked Snake during Metal Gear's story in the 90's. He made two small nations that would house soldiers from all over, without them losing their ability to have a job fighting. However...it had a second and still main usage....to stand up to Cipher, which is an organization in the shadows that controls relatively all the world through information control/suppression. But not only is it an organization but its mostly housing an AI built by someone, that controls the information on the internet, and while it was doing relatively sort of fine for a while, a "glitch" happened, or a deviation in function. And that deviation created a War Economy based off Big Boss's Handbook, and the reason why is because Big Boss himself became a Mercenary, a Legendary one at that. During those times he was a Mercenary before he died, he did spout corrupted things...which is saddening but in the end, he's not really corrupted, only doing what he needs or has to, to destroy the AI that Cipher created to oversee things in the US.

I feel Metal Gear is a better series to pick up than Game of Thrones for at least you! Because its about finding all the smaller details that correlated to one another across the series and just one small detail can change your outlook and total gathered information. Its a very somber-feeling series despite being a game. And most of the games have some stupid fun stuff in them...well...save for Ground Zeroes because the mission you play is very abrupt, and its also a very serious tone.

My mother is a fan of the anime and I must say it is very cool, but during the final very tragic to say the least.
