Okay, like I made an event called "Rig-extravaganza" where I was going to draw a huge ref for Rigby for this specific AU and post the videos on YouTube.

I was going to show me coloring him in, too but that would take hours and I know you guys are bored enough as it is with me.

This was by far the HARDEST ref to draw. That fricking front pose... No, no, the BACK pose.
I HATE back poses...

I like drawing hands, though, if you couldn't tell.

Secondly, thanks to the Super Fun!Rigby picture, I tested with the "Sand" filter and made some GORGEOUS backgrounds for my art! Look at these!!!

After finding a quicker way to color in things, I finished all my work quicker than normal! Except this. I decided to have my old style of coloring go out with a bang and finished it traditionally. It was tedious and stressful, but honorable, like a true superhero would do!

I'm in love with that first pose, but the second one is kinda... yikes. His shorter legs... I hate drawing back poses. This is why I rarely do it. I needed it for some commissions I have planned. Ugggh

Okay, about his design now!
His suit isn't black, by the way! It's dark blue! I've lightened it a bit since we've last saw him. I left the original color as his "hat" of sorts, as a reminder. :)

Speaking of his "hat", it's actually the hood to his suit detached. There's two button snaps invisible to the naked eye (due to his hair covering them). When I first tested with this idea on paper, I realized how that and the (previously red) scarf made him look like a pilot and I think you guys understand how I feel about those. 😍

The scarf (or ascot, as he refers to it) was originally supposed to be red in this form, but I dislike red and dark blue/black combos SO MUCH. So, I went with a more fitting green. It contrasts so much better! :)

I want a hazmat jumpsuit now, dang it. Where the heck do you buy one?! Seriously, Fentons; hook a dude up. A Fenton Thermos would be cool, too. I still want one after all these years... 😩

His skin tone is slightly darker to give off the same KFC vibe that DP does. (Like, he got a TAN, guys.) This made his normally visible eyebrow a problem, so I added lighter shading to it. I might need to add it to the other refs later...

His eyes seem to be an inversion as well. Teal (or green, basically) to blue. Lol.

A thing I love is that after a good decade, the Phandom is stick kicking! And they give good headcanons, like how Danny should realistically have a green mouth, but... Uh... I guess it would have looked gross? The artists where lazy? I dunno. I love the color green, so here we goooooooooo!

Hey, did you ever watch Danny Phantom and say "I forget he's a ghost"? Me, too! Well-hel-hell, Rigby won't let you forget that! Probably with him floating all over the damn place, haunting my house at night with that annoying wailing, stealing my shredded cheese with his fucking intangible hand, or jumpscaring you at random times by phasing through your wall, shouting "Boo!". I really hate it. Little twerp. (I swear, I'm going to trap him in my thermos whenever it comes... Seriously. Hook me up.)

(No, but for real, that's always annoyed me. It like how you forget SpongeBob's underwater.)

The "public menace" thing is a joke. It's a reference to Public Enemies and the fact people hate him for the heinous act of saving their lives on the daily basis. Ingrates. (It might have also been a joke about how he's a troll at times, but I don't remember.)

Younger me would be so happy right now... I always wanted fleshed out art of me as a Halfa and now... I have it. ;u;

I want to cry, my mom likes this picture. She complimented it all the way through... This is the same woman who would have condemned me as "demonic" and "morbid" years ago for this same thing. For liking a show about ghosts and wanting to be (half) dead. We've come a long way.

Note: I hope I'm not coming off as racist or self-hating or whatever, but I hate when Black/Hispanic characters are given gross lips, but every non-Black/Hispanic character isn't. (They're usually never that dark, so it's kinda...) It's bullshit. I don't do that in my series and I want others to do the same when drawing him. I want a cute black line mouth, too! 😡
(I hate lips in general, but GOOD LORD, do I hate this design trope.)
