Taro the Tapir was made for a special occassion - a client saw a wild one on their exotic honeymoon where no tapirs were supposed to be. That was 15 years ago, and the tapir still means alot to them. A spirit guide of sorts! This baby celebrates many years of happiness and many more to come. <3

Taro was made from 2 gourds, paperclay, wire, and epoxy clay. Custom cabochon eyes, painted with acrylics. 7.5" long.
