Alrighty! Some of you have probably noticed the journal I posted a little while ago in which I asked people to choose a number between 1 and 26, then asked for a word starting with the corresponding letter from the alphabet!
Now why did I do that, you wonder? Well, I just wanted to get some random words that could serve as inspiration ideas for little stories I could do as breathers in between the other projects I'm working on
And here is the result of one of those! The first choice was number 13, corresponding to the letter M; the random word given was "Maverick". Now, if you know me, and you know Celeste a bit, you might have seen this one coming already...
As always:
Celeste Monroe is © me
Mara Peterson is also © me

Hee hee, indeed, so I am! But well, two such funny stories so short afterthe other, in the middle of the night... I'm kinda empty and tired now It's almost 7 in the morning at the time of typing this post, so I might be grabbing me some sleep soon and think of more stories tomorrow! And there will most definitely be added one, because I had that ready and waiting for a while already!
*huggles and nuzzles*
But either way, thank you, darling, and thank you for all the faves too!

Isn't that like the fourth car Celeste has now? That's silly. She's silly. But that's why we love her.
Also, I see what you're doing with "were" now: you're using the direct object of the sentence as the subject. Like at the end of the fifth paragraph, you used "possibilities" as the subject, but you should use the first word, which should be "they" in this case ("they were all likely..."). Or, you could just say "all were likely possibilities, in fact." I refer to evidence A - http://i310.photobucket.com/albums/.....g?t=1270164282 - for my case.

Thanks, Zinny. Now I feel the urge to go into narrative mode when commenting on your stuff. Eh, whatever, it's fun.

*giggles and winks*
It's her fifth, in fact. She started out with the 1968 Pontiac Bonneville convertible which was faded red and was repainted light purple for their big road trip vacation (in one of my first stories of them; "The Map"), then she got the 1968 Chevrolet Camaro back which was her brother's project car but which became hers when her brother passed away, and which had been stored hidden in the back of a shed at her parental ranch (see the story "Lost"), next she got two Mercedes Benzes which had been stored in a shed that caught on fire, from her friend and band member Sylvia, the 1962 190SL and the 1970 280SL (which happens in my story "Think Positive!), and finally now in this story she gets the 1973 Ford maverick, her fifth car And knowing myself, and knowing Celeste, I have no doubt that it will not be the last sassy car that comes into Celeste's possession, either...
*giggles again*
And indeed, that is what I did with 'were'! Although I admit, sometimes I do it because I think it is correct, sometimes I do it because it looks and 'sounds' better, and sometimes I do it on purpose Those times I suppose you could see as writing with an accent, hee. I try to confine that to just the dialogue I write, but sometimes I slip a tad bit of it into the descriptive writing as well.
But either way, I'm real glad that you enjoyed the stories, and that you enjoy commenting on them! Here is a little teaser for you... my next story, which I am writing on now and which will be my 100th submission, will be the naughty sexual cub story with Celeste as a little kitten that I kept talking about...

I just started giggling like an idiot. Can't wait. And don't give me any estimate for when you'll put it up! Then all I would be able to do is count down the hours. I'm fine with "next thing to be put up" as my only clue to it.
*the fox leans back in his chair, tapping his pen against the side of his muzzle*
I don't actually know what else to put here. I'm about to go see "how to train your dragon"...so I guess I'm a little distracted. Eh, whatevs. Enjoy your weekend, Miss Zinzoline!

*chortles softly at the giggling foxie*
I promise I will try my best to not keep you in suspense for too long, dear But even if I wanted to, I can never give an estimate on when I will be posting a new story, because for one there's the time difference since I live in the Netherlands, and for another I can never be sure at what time I finish my stories, and how long it'll take me to proofread, convert and upload them (especially that last takes a wildly varied amount of time depending on how well this old laptop and the rickety connection are behaving )
*smiles*
But thank you! And I hope you enjoy your movie and your weekend too, dear!

Hee, thanks dear! Well, and indeed, racing for pinks is a bit of a risk, but Cee knows what she's doing! She'll only challenge those racers she knows she can beat! And of course, now she has a car she can do that with and still make sure she won't lose her beloved Camaro named Herb
*giggles and looks all innocent*
What little thing? I don't see a little thing? Maybe it was really late when you read this story and you were imagining it? (Hee hee, I fixed it; thanks dear! )
