Fluttershy's Favorite Photos #1: Baby Blue Jay on My Shoe
Many years ago, a fledgling blue jay once perched on my shoe. Back then, I was still studying for my double bachelor's degree (Geophysics and Media Production). For the baby to be comfortable enough to do that felt kind of like a magical experience.
At first, this picture may not seem to have anything to do with little ponies -- until you remember that this photo would probably be Fluttershy approved!

This is a very adorable moment to have captured on film. It certainly had to be a heartwarming moment that made studying that day a whole lot better.
Did it chirp at all while it paid you a visit? Did you have anything to offer as a treat before it left?
I've always loved birds. I've never saw most songbirds for myself. However ducks have always been kind enough to let me get close enough to see them. Once I could even see the duck's feet paddling below the water. It was great. :)

The fledgling was regularly begging for food, but not from me. Their cries are loud and screechy, and they flap their wings. As the parents feed the bird, I think I can hear the sound of the baby being calmed down. I had to back away regularly to avoid scaring off the parents.
