Chapter 3

"The Sentence"

The wolf boy looked at him and she looked back, the boy looked to be about Alexs age, they were even the same height.

"Oh sweety this is Alex we found him washed up on the beach".

A grin crept across the boys face.

"Sweet never seen a human before, I must say you do look alot different no fur, no snout nothing like us".

He stuck out his hand towards Alex and smiled.

"Im Hiro". he said.

Alex grabbed him hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you".

"Sweety maybe you should tell me what you needed to tell me".

Then Hiro remembered.

"We need some Mechu elixer at the medical hut".

She grabbed two crates and inside each were 3 trays of viles with a weird dark blue liquid inside.

"Alex could you help my son take these crates down to the hut please".

She nodded and they both grabbed one, surprisingly it was very light, and they both walked out of the room. As they were walking down the sandy hill Alex couldn't help but wonder what this place was, Hiros mom never told him maybe Hiro would.

"So Hiro where exactly am I"? Alex asked holding the crate steady.

"Furzonian Island". he said concentrating on the road ahead.

"Has any other humans ever come here"?

"Nope your the first one, im surprised you made it through though you see there is a portal that shuts off this one island from the rest of the world, but it doesn't stay in one spot once something enters it changes it's location".

"Are all people here wolves"?

"Yes all except for one and that is the Elder".

Alex looked at him confused.

"The Elder"?

"He's the ruler of this island he also use to be a very powerful warrior so people are cautious when they challenge him to a battle".

They finally arrived at the hut marked with a wolf symbol and what looked like a needle. As they walked in Alex saw another wolf this time with black fur and black hair.

"Ahhh my son you finally got it good job". he said.

He then saw Alex behind him.

"Ahhhh a human interesting, the Elder might need to see you". he said pointing to Alex.

"I'll take him". Hiro said instantly.

"Alright but be careful". Hiros dad told them as they walked out of the hut.

As they walked through the forest Alex looked around and saw many fruits and plants he had never seen before.

"Where does the Elder live"?

Hiro pointed to a huge palace that stood right in front of them. Alex looked up at it gazing upon it's magnificent design. It was all red except the the outline of it which was gold. They walked to the front door, which were huge, and pushed it open.

"Ahhh Hiro so nice to see you, and I see you brought a guest". a voice said from the inside.

When they entered another one of the creatures stepped down from it's throne and walked towards them. It looked like a male lion althrough he did have the red hair around his neck.

"Welcome my boy to my home". he told Alex.

"Sir I don't mean to be rude but is there a way I can get back home"? Alex asked.

"Yes we are working on it now, we heard of your arrival and since then have been working on getting the portal open".

Alex let out a sigh of relief.

"But it will take some time it may be about a week before we actually can open it".

A week! Alex shouted in his mind, he wanted to say something but he knew it was hopeless.

"In the meantime you will be participating in the Furzonian Warrior Challenge, you better get your rest younge one you will need all the strength you can get".
