So first things first, I'm asthmatic. Not the typical you grow out of it by 10 asthma, i have been in and out of the hospital from asthma issues due to allergy season rolling in. It's bad and its spooky. You look at me funny and bam, i got pneumonia.
So honestly, its part of why I dont get out a lot period.
Everything thats going on is just scarier. I honestly rely on my BF to not get sick (as a week after he does I always do) and with the whole mask thing, im noticing his immune system dropping because he's not being exposed to things that he previously was. And if his God-tier immune system is dropping, everyone's is. (Edit: i really dont know wtf im noticing with this besides him being more wheezy after work. Somethings wrong i just dont know what.)
We with weakened immune systems are even more at risk. Please- be more courteous for us, even if its as simple as not buying hand sanitizer, or not spraying perfume. Something as small as an Allergic Response can make some of us go into a pretty scary state. We are the people that rely the most on herd immunity, and if our immune system drops, we are even MORE likely to contract something more serious.
Just some symbolism: Double Merle dogs(His name is Kiyoshi) are prone to many immune disorders. The Gray backdrop is the color for Allergies/Asthma Awareness.

Wait, how are you noticing that his immune system is getting weaker? For an healthy person it takes decades before that happens, and unless you count his white cells it's something really hard to measure.
That said, you are right, everyone needs to be more considerate, wearing masks and going out only when necessary, without giving in to paranoia and anxiety.

Its hard to describe, but when he comes home after work you can HEAR it when he breathes. Almost like a smoker's cough but not while coughing. This wasnt happening during the no mask phase. I dont think hes sick, as it does go away eventually, but something at least is making his airways act up. Its a really weird thing n idk how to describe it :-:

I feel this so much. Not because of myself but because i have a friend who is immuno suppressed because of an organ transplant. She is the one i am worried about in this time and she is the reason why I try to take care of not spreading anything around because i know how important herd immunity is ;;

Four out of five people in my family (not including myself, thankfully) are in a similar spot, as far as immuno-deficiency goes. We're all scared of how stores are gonna open again, so my cousin and I are the ones who are gonna be outside to buy for our needs... I hope, we all do I think, things get better soon-- but even if it stays the same, please be careful! Keep active inside your house, otherwise, it's gonna be harder to keep your spirits up.
