So I was talking to my pet/daughter online and out of the blue I said; "Quick! Give me a random word starting with T!" She went; "Uhmmm... tummy?"
That was a good word! And here you see the result of the idea that popped into my mind! Yet another silly, short, just for fun Mara and Celeste story! Wheee! These little things are so much fun to write as breathers in between the other projects!
Special thanks to my pet/daughter
tunari for the word and thus the idea!
Of course:
Celeste Monroe is © me
Mara Peterson is also © me
The song "Yummy yummy yummy" is © Ohio Express

I feel like a broken record here, but again Mara and Celeste have me smiling. These two are wonderful, I honestly cannot say that enough.
And, as you apparently don't mind ...in the first paragraph you left the "s" off "was" in the second sentence. But again, nothin' other than that teeny thing. You were right about being so mechanically accurate with your writing because it's your second language. One of my friends is an exchange student from Portugal, and while he has a moderate accent, he writes better than many people in our class. You foreigners are cheaters.
I find myself asking, as well, have you thought doing a scene with Mara and Celeste using fresh market groceries during...*foxy grin*..."playtime"? Heehee.
Regardless, they are so romantic. I absolutely love reading each new submission featuring them. I'm actually finding myself looking forward to new submissions from you each week. And when you put up several in a week, it's like a holiday.

*giggles*
Well, I certainly don't mind hearing it a lot, dear! It just makes me real glad to know that these two characters whom I just randomly made over a year ago for a Thursday Prompt are being so well received. Of course, they have grown a whole lot over the past year, too
*chuckles and sticks out her tongue*
I noticed that small typo of the missing 's' too, but I didn't feel like correcting it in the original file and then re-uploading the whole thing for just one missing letter And I'm surprised you didn't spot the inconsistency of me using a 'handful' of grapes the first time, and a 'pawful' of grapes the other times Hee hee, and indeed, since English is basically a foreign language for us, we are taught to be perfect in it in school. Of course, it does help when you have a talent with language like I do
Hee hee, and well, who knows? There might be a story sometime that shows some of the... 'playtime' where Cee used some of her market-purchased fruit in... or maybe something she got at the dairy isle in the supermarket. Cee loves dairy products... she's a cat after all!
*giggles*
Well, and seeing as how tomorrow is Thursday, and I already had another story ready, there will be at least one more story tomorrow, and maybe even more than that, so... anticipate and enjoy!
