A Killer and a Dancer
's character from the same Pathfinder game. He started out as a sort of Furry Spock and then we discovered (out of character in my case) that he was a serial killer.
Ren despite Varik's coldness had the worst kind of crush on him. I imagine if things had gotten the chance to play out to completion Ren would have eventually confessed his feelings. Varik's nature probably wouldn't have deterred him, he would have fought to grow the good inside of him.
Whether that good existed or not.
