hmmm, y'know, I could be wrong on the artist's depiction of his tank. It might be a completely different tank, Sherman-tanks in WW2 where a bit fatter in the front and about only as wide as a car. They DID have the guns in the same places, though.

Tiger I (see below) one of a very few that were deployed in northern Africa as far as i know

Could have been but as you see you cannot really tell which one it is. To little details. But yes, i agree it's more likely a tiger (III had straight barrel without a muzzle).

Panzer to pancerny. Tobie pewnie chodziło o Panter :P Czyli PzKpfw VII (który notabene wygląda jak większa wersja t-34 z którego go zerżnięto)

yet i m wondering, whether there were actually Tiger I already in service.. i m not that sure right now, for the first deployments were during 1942

Yup. There were some VI in Africa Corps. So yes - it was.

maybe they were deployed later during the campaign as reinforcements. otherwise it must actually have been PzKpfw III *chuckles* or the artist didn t really care and simply "teleported" a Tiger I there *chuckles* artistic freedom ftw.

ah now it works... and yes... Tiger I confirmed *chuckles* PzKpfw III got way too small a gun ^^ honestly the III is even less worthy being called a tank than the Sherman ^^

sorry to disappoint you, Hawkcon, but thats a german Tiger I - the embodiment of one of the worst nightmares a Sherman could encounter on the Battlefields of Europe and northern Africa. Only with an incredible amount of luck could a Sherman hope to take out one of those.

But russian T-34 and T-43 was a good competitor for Tigers and other german Tanks :P.
