A bit of context? I tried to make them look like brothers, in their 50s, that's why the lines on their faces. trying their luck with a younger lady, on vacations. Maybe a little cliche, but I liked it anyway xP

Like the other comments, i think some different coloring would go a long way in showing their age. Most dogs don't stay the same shade or pattern their whole life so you'd expect to see the fur looks noticeable less luscious. Golden retrievers seem to lose their color on their face and limbs so that would also be a good indicator.
