Some Pokémon explorers choose to venture into Mystery Dungeons solo. Other times a team can be separated and isolated by a trap, a natural disaster, or simply by getting lost within the labyrinths of a Dungeon, but spending any amount of time alone in a Mystery Dungeon is perilous.
While searching for his team, Lukos had to cross water to the other side, which was bad enough as a fire type. However, what he thought was merely murky swamp water turned out to be some kind of thick goo, which stuck him in place after crossing the shallow area. Even worse, he was slowly sinking and couldn't reach for an escape item. Slowly he tried to inch his way back to shore, but moving too fast would cause him to sink even quicker. He had to hurry, yet be careful, or he would surely never be found by his team.
That Sylveon's ribbons would come in handy in pulling him out, if only he were around...
