a shell from Germany's Heavy Gustav, the biggest gun ever built. the bore was 80cm. It was transported by rail and took four tracks to fire once assembled. Assembly took close to six weeks. Counting officers and anti-air support, the crew was nearly 1,500 men. Each shell weighed between about five to seven tons. the gun itself weighed over 1,300 tons. It briefly saw action in Russia in 1942, but fired fewer than 50 shells.
