My favorite of the projects we've done so far. This was only probably about 2" long and I had to make it big. Can't remember the size of the paper off the top of my head, but it's way bigger than this thing was.

I've always liked the texture one can get with charcoal. I wasn't all that great with it the few times I used it for drawing classes. But I was always amazed when other people could, as one instructor of mine stated it: "draw air"-- ie- using lighting, shading and texture in a manner that gives a drawing that extra bit of realism, which you have done here.
