looks alright for imitation of the style. doesn't quite have the same fluidity or cute cartoonness though. saying that, both of those things could be attributed to their colouring style. side view makes him look like he's going to topple backwards, needs more balance at the front, like say his head should be more forward or his feet should go back a bit. you need to work on understanding the placement of the eyes and how the jaw typically moves to do better mawshots.. as well as working on the perspective of the individual teeth. something thats not easy, I'll grant you that.
overall, tis decent. but I think this character lacks that.. personality or charisma that the style of the artist has, and saying that, on your muscle practise I felt you portrayed a better sense of character.

I think it's a nice combination of both worlds! ^_^
Though I can still see you way of drawing and some parts are a little too 'you' to look like Rockk's style. (I don't know how to explain it)
For the rest, the style that came out of this one is certainly one I wouldn't mind to see back! It's a great mix! =3
