This is number two in my "Dress my OC" Twitter challenge, and a good friend of mine suggested that I should be Captain America with Thor's hammer. The suggestion could not have come at a better time because in April I went through a rather dark episode of depression that lead people to believe that I had harmed myself. Thankfully I pulled myself out thanks to the friendship and compassion of my friends, family and work leaders.. The idea for the commission reminded me that in Avengers'; Endgame both Thor and Cap go through a dark phase after the Snap killed half the world's population. Thor was so depressed that he let himself go, fearing he was not worthy of his hammer. But turns out after all he went through, he was still worthy. And then Cap, after all he did especially during Civil War, he finally was worthy to pick the hammer and lead the Avengers towards the final battle.
So this pieces means a lot to me because it reminded me that I can be a hero in my own way, even if I have parts of me that ache, that none of that gets in the way of being a hero to myself and others, because at the end...I am worthy of everything I have in my life.
