Well, it was an idea out of the blue since in TaleSpin, the setting of the cartoon is around the 1930s or so considering the old technology found there. Back then, there were no television sets, no computers, printers or copy/fax machines, no cell phones, no compact discs, and no webcams or MP3 music files or anything else modern like these days back then.
