This is Otter Pop. He spins poi.
Lighting was two strobes, one on each side, high up and slightly behind him. The obvious flare from the one on the right I left in as a bit of an "echo" to the moon. A third strobe, gelled 1/2 CTO, about chest high in front of him filled in the warmth on his arms and face. I also spread some silver fabric on the ground before him to tame the shadows just a bit more. It also served to give me something to lay on besides the mud. 10-20mm lens, tripod, 2.5s exposure, f4, ISO 500.
