A friend sent me a bunch of Harvey Comics, plus some other things. One of the covers for Hot Stuff, the one with the kid devil in a diaper, caught my eye: there was this dragon(?) looking at Hot Stuff and his telephone hotline. (It was a bundle of flames in the shape of a land-line phone.) So I thought to give him a try.

I continue fussing with the brushes, which will surely pay off if I ever buy a modern iPad and none of drawing apps use any brush-design system like the ancient version of ArtRage I have. But the distinguishing thing here is I turned auto-smoothing up to about 10%. And turned the tapering up to 75% (it had been hanging around 50%) so now I actually have a bunch of lines that look ... not horrible, really.

That Harvey nose, though. That's a heck of a shape to really look at. Those spots all over the dragon(?) are a lot of fun, too. I put in way more circles than the original had just because once I got going I didn't want to stop.
