Have you tried mixing the two styles together in a way that works? Would be unique and interesting to see!

I've thought about it but I haven't had the time to do so. Maybe I should, if it's holding up my queue,
I think I'll take an hour or so to just experiment before I get any further on these pieces for today.
I think I mainly worry about what my audience is used to and how it affects them.
But I think I should try and integrate what I enjoy into my work as well!

Well you should always try to find a style that makes you happy. I’m sure your commissioners will understand and love what outcome you have.

If the style conflict is holding you back too much, it may also be worth asking your customers if they would be ok with you experimenting with their pieces while trying to figure out which style makes you happiest, that way there is less stress to have to stick to one specific one!

I really like both the smooth and the textured personally, so I know I'd be happy regardless. <3 ;w;

It's not that it's holding me back that much (most of my delays are because of this constant swelling/inflammation all over my body this past week and a half ;; ) -
But it's more: I know my clients will be happy with what they get, but will I be happy/proud of it because I'm conflicted in the end of what I could have done different?
If that makes any sense at all! It's super early here and I'm all over the place in some sort of manic episode, haha.
