My mom who recently died made this years ago and won a ribbon for it at the minnesota state fair. It's a woodburning, which means taking a chisel tip soldering iron and scorching a piece of wood to make a design. I'm not sure what kind of paints were used to color this but it does have a clearcoat over it to keep it preserved. It's about 10 inches tall by 18 inches wide.
