Team Undead: Amrit the Fleshless.
She was, once, of the Gnoll tribes. Once, long ago; however she died a martyr, trying to save the town from an attacking human monarch. She still shows signs of this fateful day, the arrows that protrude from her shoulder a constant reminder of that day thousands of years ago. She now uses her undead immunity to pain as a member of The Team. She stil features many of the weaknesses that normal undead suffer from, holy water, crosses, and decapitation, however they're a momentary hinderance in her otherwise invincible frame. Amrit has, over the centuries, developed an envious loathing of things that live oblivious of the greater picture, and as such she sometimes lashes out spitefully, showing a torturous side that she always shows massive remorse for afterward. Her weapons of choice are shortswords that she dual-weilds. She is unable to carry them at all times, however, as her undead flesh cannot support them for prolonged periods of time.
She's roughly four feet tall, and has a tendency to cry over death, wishing that she could have someone to share eternity with.
Resurrected by the Team Demon by accident, she drains his power whenever possible. If she can drain enough, her flesh will return to its original, life filled state and she can finally take a bath without smelling like a boiled salmon. She doesn't rot, nor does she age, because of the demonic magic that sustains her.
She has often said that, if another demon were to cross the Team's path, she'd drain it dry of its magic without a second thought. A single, powerful, demon could not only sustain her but possibly revive her completley, and she only restrained from doing exactly this to the Team Demon because he was, obviously, a part of The Team, the last group of mortals and demi-mortals that she would willingly pledge herself to.
I had FUN drawing this character, it must be admitted. I spent forever on her clothes and the damage to her body, and I'm pleased with the result.
