Poor foolish Isaac only wanted to make himself able fly. All that he managed to give himself was a long string of painfully awkward social encounters and an unassailable craving for chips. Even more tragic is the fact that chips won't be available in England for another 30 years. I suppose he'll have to manage with a sporadic diet of herrings, sea stars, and stale bread crusts in the meantime.
