Don't know what to comment on this, other than that I had been wanting to do one of these for ages and finally got together and made one :).
Ingredients
5 medium length, thick sausages (I used chorizo ones)
10 streaks of BACON
2 medium sized onions
1 can of mushrooms (I personally dislike the texture on fresh mushrooms :P)
2.5 cups chili sauce
3 cups Tomato passata (Check where there's usually italian things and/or chopped tomatoes in a tin, etc) (***tomato paste***)
2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp black pepper
3 tsp cayenne pepper
Splash of soy
Pinch of salt
How to:
1. Chop the onions and the sausage. Cut the bacon strips into smaller pieces with a scissor.
2. Fry the onions in a large pot, together with a bit of oil (or butter, your choice) until they're soft.
3. Next, add the meat and the spices. Fry it in the pot until the bacon is fried through properly.
4. Then add the chili sauce, tomato passata and the splash of soy. If wanted, add more cayennepepper.
5. Stir until properly cooked through. For thicker stew, add some sauce thickener or the like.
And it's done!
