LizardBeth drew this for me at Furry Weekend Atlanta 2010.
Here is Melon Raw'kenzie and Salil ibn-Zulfiqar, the main characters of my story Scars of Hope (working title). Following Obsidian Road, this story will be in another book of stories set on Venus. In it, a jaded gunslinger, a sheltered slave, and a weary jihadist discover that the light of hope can shine even in a world of darkness and chaos.

I absolutely love how Liz portrayed these two. Their expressions fit the mood of the piece perfectly, and the character designs themselves are stunning!
