The echoes of the memories and words freshly wound their way through its chest. It sighed like a tree having been scorched long ago. It whispered to itself both in pity and enforced reflection.

"I'm...I'm not...I don't burn......I don't...burn..."

It wept quietly beneath the blanket of smoke. No one would ever know.
