So... I seem to have an opportunity to take part in a D&D Star Wars one-shot and... and according to the expanded options... kushiban is an allowed race.

So now the party is going to have a fluffy, 3ft tall ex-jedi with a festering cynicism, bad attitude and a deathstick addiction :')
