You might be wondering what this is about...not too usual for me to draw canids, even less in current tech outfit...

A G11 Assualt Rifle, firing the 4,7mm Caseless ammo. The weapon was a competator for the ACR project for the US Army, but never went into production.
Its the Porsche of the Assualt weapons, due to the fact that the fire rate in burst mode (3 round bursts) is 2000 rounds per minute. Thats was done to mantain the stability of the rifle during burt fire. The Recoil get to your shoulder long after the bullets left the barrel.
Well, guess we will see that concept returning in the future.

lol hey hell ima let you in on something man. Ok, ever notice how some posts are glued together like they replied directly? Like Ipoke's to yours, well there is a Reply Post right under the box where his text is in, hit that and yours stickies underneath it, and also will direct reply people on other pictures if they are not the artist, say you want to reply me I would never get it unless you do like I said.
Haha!!! Man alive, all I've done is two pics of a chick showering and already you're really into this storyline... Luckily for you, there IS in fact a place for well-armed and trained military types within the plot-line of my story. Surprisingly, while I haven't been doing much DRAWING for this comic, I've actually succeeded in doing a good little bit of WRITING for it... I've got a good.... dozen or so comic pages worth of solid written material for the comic, and a fairly well fleshed out plotline to work within for the rest of it. I'm still lacking a final resolution, but I'm fine with that, because I have a few plot twists as it is, and I think once I get into the depths of this story, something will materialize....

My guess would likely be the M82... The thing is, with this storyline, is that yes there are a few quasi-organized unaffilated armies out to seize power for themselves, but they are relatively small, slightly rag-tag bunches ruled totalitarian-military style. While the G11 is an awesome gun, the reality is that it is still very much a prototype, and ammunition and the rifles themselves would be scarce. An army like this would be a: scavenging ammunition which means limited selections of common ammo, and b: possibly making their own with whatever ammunition loaders and bullet molds they could salvage... Meaning ammunition is still scarce and difficult to make, thus they would stick to maybe a couple fairly standard types, like 9mm, 7.62 NATO, and .50 sniper rounds... Or something.
Heh, I am still considering changing Selene's gun so I don't have to do any explaining about why the hell she has a massive hunting rifle... I was thinking about reassigning her an M82, but then again there are some nice 300 winchester sniper rifles out there...

Anyways...I failed to update some background story on him, but I actually have something worked out on him...
Here's the idea. This guy (still don't have a name for him) is technically much of a lone wolf. He doesn't favor company much and keep himself well alive on his own. He grew up in a slum village of refugees but fled when it was attacked and taken down. The people had taught him enough to survive for a bit but he son ran out of power. Lucky for him, he stumbled over an abandoned military outpost in the area, all empty except for some suplies and ammo. He took what he found and learned to handle the stuff and actually settled down in that very same place.
Some while after this he meets up with Selene, in a friendly way later on I was thinking, but ultimately that's up for you to decide ^^
