Interesting concept, when you really think about it.

This is exactly why we need to open a portal to anthropomorphic realms and invite them in to be the dominant race on Earth.

Humans won't but our next genetic change will! And so will the Anthropomorphic races based upon Earth Fauna that Humans seed the galaxy with to evolve into humanoids all on their own planet, by use of time travel, to coincide with the humans changing to the Scandinavian based gene pool of the Thorvaldians, after the great exodus of each culture left Earth to make their own planet only them! ( I wrote a role-playing game on this exact possibility).
