Just a little something, something (something) to show I'm not dead on this day of days. Just been lying low and quiet while the world burns and keeping to myself, but I still wanted to give something for the 4th. I had a different image planned, but the lighting just wasn't working the way I wanted, so I opted for one a bit different. I'm sure no one minds.

Rogue One was the only good "spin off" movie that came out, it actually felt like a Star Wars movie and had direct tie-ins to Rebels and (obviously) Ep.4. Solo wasn't terrible, it was just the scapegoat for fans in retaliation for what Disney was doing. They totally mis-cast Solo, though. However, I stand by my opinion that Solo did not need to be made. I also believe that they should have skipped the bullshit origin story and gone for something less well known like what happened to Solo and Chewy on Ord Mantel between ep.4 and 5 when he says they ran into a bounty hunter. That would have been awesome to know. The Last Jedi is really where it all began and it just pains me to think about it. As far as Rise of Skywalker goes, I give it a pass. The ending was pure shit and it shit all over the mythos of Star Wars as a whole, but on the flip side some of the things that JJ did was a direct slap in the face of Rian Johnson for what he did in Last Jedi. Still doesn't forgive some of the bullshit story plots, but it was at bare minimum watchable. However, some of the plans for new movies will make this past 6 years seem perfect...
