A fresh drawing of Miz Beaver making ready to smack someone down hard. This is a redraw from Walt Kelly's illustration of the Alice in Wonderland courtroom scene, with Miz Beaver refusing to have anything to do with Judge Simple J Malarkey's nonsense. I feel I got a better handle on making her hefty than in previous pictures. Also that I'm reaching the point of competence with my lines. Not just the tapering of the lines but also in getting them to go roughly as far as I want. I erased fewer line overruns than usual here, which may show in that I missed one at her crossed arms.

Her shoulders are a good bit broader than in Walt Kelly's rendition, although I don't think it throws her appearance off. What I have yet to get right, even once, is her tail. It's possible that beaver tails are still an unsolved problem.
