Y'know that is a good idea, and something I've certainly considered. However I do hesitate a bit because I'm not sure just how keen people would be on paying for an *impression* of their character, rather than a fully-detailed rendition. Most folks like to see their characters up-close and personal, since that's pretty much what they're paying for; inclusion of their character.
That said it wouldn't really hurt to try, I suppose. Could put it in party mode and see where it goes. *shrug*

It'd probably really depend on the price, but I would definitely take something like that. It'd probably be only recommended to simple character designs, as too much detail would make the character stand out too much in the whole piece.
Perhaps you could use your own character to fiddle around with the possibilities!
