Freed from the Earth's gravity, Cyril now floated next to it in space, bigger than it.
And still growing bigger, his height rising and his muscles swelling greater still.
Absently throwing his dead cigar away, he looked at the "shrinking" planet.
And saw no sign of life on it.
He wasn't excessively surprised, since he saw no life at all already since the beginning.
But having been more focused on the pleasure of his growth than on this, he didn't really pay attention to it after his initial pre-growth panic.
But now, the adrenaline wave had passed, and while the sensations of his growing body were still pure bliss, he could focus on other things now.
Like how the planet now looked like a big ball compared to his gigantism, and was temptingly grabable.
Well, between finding myself back home instantly and being the only existing person, I'm surely dreaming right now, so no harm no foul!
And he did grab the world.
As he brought it closer to his face for a better look, it kept being smaller and smaller in his mitt, going from "soccer ball" to "tennis ball", then to "table tennis ball"...
Watching his hand cover more and more of the planet orb felt surprisingly soothing to the aardvark.
Heh, no wonder astronauts say there's nothing more beautiful in space than the Earth. It looks just splendid.
And thus, he admired his "catch", almost forgetting his gargantuan growth, size and might.
Almost.
