This was inspired partially by Planet Of the Apes and partially by an article I red a few years ago about some kind of primate (maybe baboons? I can't remember) in the wild riding other animals. The concept was just sitting in my sketchbook for a while, but I finally decided to finish it. I'm not used to drawing backgrounds in my digital arts, so this was also somewhat experimental in that area.
(By the way, that's supposed to be a chimpanzee, but since there wasn't an option I just tagged it "gorilla." Close enough, right?)
