It's a sunny day, the temperatures are pleasant, no wind is moving the air around you, birds are singing in the trees - basically a perfect day. How could it possibly get better?
During your stroll through the nearby woods you suddenly encounter a dragon by the small lake you often pass by. As he spots you, he makes a small leap off of the ground, doing a full spin mere meters from you mid air. The moment before his feet touch the soft ground again, a small flame escapes the dragons slightly opened muzzle. He seems so happy to see you... maybe he's been waiting for you to find him here all this time?...

BUT! Now I can finally show you this commission, that I was allowed to draw for a user by the name Caitlyn on Instagram! I'm so so happy with how this turned out, as I said before, this may just be the most detailed background I drew so far. I also for the first time used a mix of coloured pencils and markes (in some places, not the whole drawing) and was able to create some really nice effects with that! I'm so excited to work on more commissions like these, I hope there will be more of them in the future... >3</
