Yes, that's very much where I live also. I live on the outskirts of a very small town. Somewhere around here someone has a couple of Labrador retrievers they like to let run wild on occasion...so we end up with dirty land minds in the yard because we have a female Beagle who stays in the house.
LOL!!! "Lawn Mines" I like that Better! Mowing them isn't so bad, but stepping in one at 0600 in the morning when you're still half asleep....it's a Real eye opener!
A Gardner huh? I did landscaping for a couple of year's...That's some Hard Sweaty Work there! Money's not bad, but the day I was sent to the top of a tree to "Top it" in the middle of a lightning storm was the day I quit. I don't much like working in the rain, and I Really don't like working with Bolts of Electricity flying all about!

LOL!!! They're Mean little Bastards I will say that, but then you cannot really blame them, after all their mother's are a Bitch.
Honestly I would never have one, Beagles are as small of a dog as what I care to have. They're Incredibly Smart, Loyal and Protective. Plus they have a voice Three time's their size!

Well yes....That's and Excellent point! I've really never given thought to this and now I feel a bit dumb.... I mean I know a dog's jaws are capable of crushing bones, and puppies often like to move your fingers to the back of their mouths when they play fight as they don't understand their own strength yet. But I've never thought about a bird....That's actually kinda scary!
