I made a poll on Deviantart around the start of the month, asking between all of my OC's (Yes, I actually have a veriety of OC's which has never seen the light of day in about 4 years), which one should I redraw. The winner was Lenneth, whom I have nicknamed now Lennii because too many people keep relating her to Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile D:

Anyway, the scanner has been horrible to me lately, and thus, she suffers. I'll try to save this picture and rescan it tomrrow >: Do HD scanners exist??
EDIT: Huzzah for super scanner! I can see the difference, but can YOU? >:O

If you want your scanner to pick up the picture better, you could try increasing the resolution before scanning. Some scanners also let you change the DPI, which, if I recall, is dots per inch?
Just remember...high DPI will give you a high quality picture, but you don't want to set the resolution too high, or else your picture will scan too large ^^;;. And also, I've scanned photographs for family with a high DPI, and had it take as long as 10 minutes to scan a 6x8 photo ^^;;. But, in that respect, it was worth the wait, since they came out really clear.
Hope that helps. Awesome work, and amazing job with the shading on the pants, by the way ^^.
