Hey all! I'm going to finally get back to writing for Clowning Around, but I figured why not provide some bios of the main characters so that everyone can follow along. Also, the drawing above is the 1st ever drawing done of Junior! Done by my good friend thecushytushydeer a few years ago:

Junior

Junior the Big Baby Clown is the new identity of Mason, the star quarterback of the Coastline College. Mason takes on the role of Junior when he is forced to enter Coastline’s ‘Clown College’ to bring his grades up in order to rejoin the football team after being kicked out.

At first, Mason struggles slipping into the role of Junior, due to his troubled past keeping him from embracing the silliness and carefree nature of the character. However, with the loving guidance of his two mentors Pop-Pop the Clown and his wife, Mamie the Clown, Mason gradually begins to take solace in becoming Junior.

Pop-Pop and Mamie’s principal rule is that Mason must ‘embrace’ the character of Junior by being treated like an actual baby, which includes Mason having to wear diapers, eat in a highchair, drink from baby bottles, and dress in babyish attire.

While Mason first is deeply embarrassed by this, his baby treatment allows him to have the childhood he never got to have, with Pop-Pop and Mamie being the first loving parental figures he has ever known.

Soon Mason comes to fully embrace his identity as a Big Baby Clown, but this causes him to reflect on his life up until that point, making him wonder what he wants out of life and reflect on who he truly wishes to be.
