Well.... I'm tempted to ask a weird one: A robot!

Think of a slightly cartoonish praying mantis, its eyes not insectile segment eyes, but plexiglass boulders with cameras that can freely rotate inside.
As an alternative, there'd be:

a mean, sly and ruthless, slightly overfed aging white tigress.
Think of Emperor Palpatine or some psychopatic murderer ( optional: real world dictators ) as to her facial expression.
In short, the exact opposite to https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13008719/

The Mantis sees you with your painting stuff. Tilting its head around, up and down, and sideways, it at some point realizes you are going to paint it. It looks around again, then it scuttles into a spot where sunshine falls onto the forest floor. Carefully it lowers itself first onto its roadwheels, then onto its belly.
Some motions later it removed a small branch with leafs from its antenna , flickered the red bulb on its antennas end twice and then strikes a pose.
It does so for several more minutes until it is sure that there is the maximum of contrast on its body.
Then it realizes that it has become night and you already left.
Then it spots that you painted a picture of the tree it had been working on when you arrived.
It moves to where you stood and after trying to get your perspective by pressing its head almost onto the ground, it has to agree:
The tree resembles a fat man with a pointed head to 62% when blurring the image a bit.
Carefully the Mantis lowers its body again to the ground, then a small hatch opens and a trilobite robot coms out, fetches the picture and carefully carries the picture to another hatch, opens it, and then slides the picture around the processor core of the Mantis before closing the hatch and then climbing back into its bay in the Mantis' body.
