(J) feeling scared of most humans now all of a sudden
due to gaining a huge bruise on my side
I crawl away trying to get away from any human for the moment.
(K) I see that, and try to calm you down. "Hey there. I won't hurt you, don't worry." It feels weird telling you this when we were friends before you started acting weird...
(J) I shiver and attempt to get away from the human.
(K) Seems you're scared of me. Might be hard to make you trust me. Though if I had some food...
(J) I would rather just be alone, I quickly escape the area by running off and diving under a bush before Kelly could get to me then walking around a corner until I'm far away from the restaurant area
not aware where I am but I can smell humans around.
I was in a park.
(K) People are still around, and they definitely would be surprised to see a woman acting like a puppy.
(J) I cautiously sniffed around the place starting with a tree,
trying to avoid the humans.
(K) Though there may be a human going near that tree now...
(J) I crawled away trying to avoid antagonizing the human.
(K) The human does hear you though, and goes to investigate.
(J) That's when I attempt to bolt off somewhere else
perhaps an area in the park much further away.
(K) There is a park, though people do hang out in parks. Some kids are even playing there.
(J) I feel surrounded by humans I don't trust and give up and lay on the grass.
(K) Some of the kids do notice you. One of them is holding a ball...
(J) If I wasn't so cautious or tired I would've gone over to them.
(K) One does try to talk to you, asking if you're ok. He isn't being intimidating at least.
(J) I don't talk obviously as I lay on my side in the sunshine.
(K) Are you not able to talk?" They may just think you can't speak English.
(J) I merely try to pretend the human kid is not there
as I start rolling in the grass and making little sounds.
The kid feels like he should tell his mum and dad about this.
(K) The kid does go to do that, thinking you may need help.
(J) I barely realized I was panting with my tongue out as I lay on my back and getting a tummy full of the nice warm sun.
(K) Though you do soon hear some people coming. "The girl is this way!" the kid says to his parents.
(J) I then get up and prepare to either stay or flee.
(K) They do see you. They ask if you need some help.
(J) I choose to flee.
I turned around and began running away to somewhere where I would unknowngly be easily trapped like a rat.
revealing I moved on all fours.
(K) "Hey, wait up. We're not going to hurt you!" the mom says.
(K) Will you try to get over the fence? Go around it?.
(J) I jumped up and scratched at it whining with worry
I couldn't get over it or around it.
(K) That may just cause people to come over to check on the whining.
(J) I then started yapping in frustration
as I couldn't get under it either due to the concrete underneath it blocking me
The family with the kid was watching me.
(K) What is up with that girl?" the father asks. He then walks up to you. "Is something wrong?"
(J) I whimpered in fear as I saw him because he slightly reminded me of the human who threw me on the ground hard.
(K) Hey hey, I won't hurt you." He has no idea why you're whimpering like a dog, but it seems like something scared you.
(J) I turned around and tried digging at the concrete with desperation which damaged my finger nails.
(K) "Hey hey, stop that!" The man tries to make you stop. Not trying to hurt you.
(J) In a fit of fear I bite him on the hand like a puppy with little or no teeth used.
(K) He does pull his hand back. "Hey, you didn't need to bite me!".
(J) Oh though I was still afraid I lick his hand in a small apology
The child and his mother were still watching us like they were watching movie or a play.
(K) It was definitely strange, since you were acting like a dog. To try to calm you, he goes to pet your head. "Hey, it's fine. I'm not mad." It seemed like you needed to be treated like a dog...
(J) I tilted my head sideways a bit as I did enjoy that.
(K) He keeps doing it then, even scratching behind your ear.
(J) I started panting with my eyes closed to show how much I loved that
Soon the rest of his family and a few other humans come over.
(K) They do find you weird. But you aren't hurting anyone, so they do come closer to investigate.
(J) Someone as unusual like me could easily end up as news on tv
people at the park had their phones ready
as I rolled over on my back.
(K) "Check out this crazy dog woman," one says, while bringing other people over and filming you.
"Is she just doing this for attention? She can't possibly think she's a dog."
(J) I soon get up and go over and investigate the people filming me.
(K) Some start to ask you questions, like "What are you doing?" and "Do you understand us?" all to see if you do think like a dog.
