"Are you okay?" Knight Wolf asked, looking over his shoulder at the green-clad knight behind him. "We can... slow down if you'd like. You're looking a bit lethargic today, Deriaz."
"Huff... huff.... No, no. I'm just..." Deriaz looked at Knight Wolf. He could see concern in the werewolf's eyes. "I'm just... uh... this armor, I feel it's a bit tight?"
Knight Wolf rolled his eyes. "That's what you get when you add all the bells and whistles to armor." Knight Wolf sighed, stopping his walk and backtracking a bit to be next to Deriaz. "S'why I keep my armor simple. Only embelishment it has is my emblem on the chest." Knight Wolf gestured to a small bit of gold on the werewolf's armor plating. "Aside from that, since I'm so fat, I had my armor enchanted. It's a perfect fit for my belly and will always grow or shrink with it. Very comfortable, too!" The werewolf smiled, seeming proud of his selection in armor.
Deriaz grunted in annoyance. "Okay, thank you... huff... for that remark, but this armor is..." Deriaz attempts to stretch backward, his voice became strained as his armor shifted. "really REALLY tight...."
Knight Wolf frowned, looking at the armor. "How much is it straining?" He poked at the front of the armor. It was pulled taut by whatever lay underneath Deriaz's armor. "Well, maybe we should start with your bellyplate?" The werewolf gave the plate a knock. He heard a sound that seemed familiar to him, and his mouth contorted into a smile. "Oooooh, okay. How long has this been going on, Deriaz?"
Deriaz twisted his head so he was staring at Knight Wolf. "Has... what been going on?"
Knight Wolf's compassionate demeanor flipped on its head as the mischief began to show. "I've known you for a good two years now, last I recall, armor like this would not be 'too tight' for your 'lithe' body."
Deriaz felt himself heat up with panic as he backpeddled away from the knight in front of him. "I... I don't know what you're talking about!"
"Well, you're going to be out of breath a lot..." Knight Wolf began, "if you keep sucking in your gut." He patted his own belly as an example. "Deriaz, the mysterious dracoknight fattened up and can't fit in his armor anymore!"
Deriaz quivered. "I... no! No! I can! I'm literally wearing it right now!"
"Then relax your gut." Knight Wolf chided.
Deriaz grimaced, realizing he couldn't hide it from Knight Wolf anymore. With a deep inhale, the iguana exhaled as much as he could, letting his belly relax. He could hear metal creak as his belly began to push and deform the metal....
CLANG! The metal bellyplate shot forward, almost hitting Knight Wolf in the chest as it clattered to the ground ten feet away. In place of where the plate used to be was a large, soft, and highly-rounded, iguana belly.
Knight Wolf giggled. "There ya go! Now don't you feel a lot more comfortable?"
"I... heard we were going to be adventuring together. I didn't want to disappoint you." Deriaz remarked indignantly.
"Since we last met, Deriaz, have I gotten fatter?" The werewolf asked, tilting his head to the side.
Deriaz nodded. "ver much so."
"So, why are YOU not allowed to get fatter?" The werewolf scratched his head. "I don't mind if you've got abs or a big gut... or...." The werewolf got in close to the belly and gave it a sniff. "Oh, you've been drinking a lot recently? That explains a lot, actually!"
Deriaz scowled, folding his arms. "Can you stop being a sleuth for a second and help me out of this hot, metal bellytrap?"
